BMW V12 Swap Sound - Supercharged V12 E28 Dyno Run
Here's a video of a V12 Swapped E28 528e at Flim Flam Speed in Richmond Virginia on the dyno.
Some details on the build:
M70B50
Getrag 265/6
3.25 large case diff
stainless dual exhaust
E39 RHD steering rack
Rotrex C38-92 Supercharger
Dual 300zx Intercoolers
Had issues with the supercharger belt slipping, so weren't able to get solid runs in, but it sounds amazing!

Took the V12 wagon to Flim Flam Speed in Richmond to put it on the dyno after a full rebuild. Here's some details of the build: Fresh rebuilt M70 from a 750il with around 2000 miles, VAC M5 flywheel, OE M5 clutch w/PP, 420G trans, 3.46LSD, Style 66 (9" wide) w/255s in the back. How I polished the BBS wheel lips on my 1995 BMW E34 540i. I picked up about 90% of the supplies at Walmart. Although the garage had poor lighting, it made a huge difference in the look of the wheels.

With e85 and some advanced timing, we're able to brake boost with a stock torque converter in a modded AW71. Still taking it easy until we figure out why the inline fuel pump is flaking out. Quick vid of some idle AFRs and exhaust sound. Still plenty of tuning to do..I'm just glad it's running and not leaking anything. Still not quite right when you give it gas, but it's a start. Hey dummy... straight pipe means no cats, no mufflers, no resonators. Straight pipe from the tips directly to the headers, thats it.

This was a prototype that was done by BMW PAUL ROSCHE. I'm not sure if this one was one, but it may have been a swap that another person did?

As stated, not actually a straight-piped example, but a sleeper like this shouldn't be straight-piped if you ask me. Not every car has to be antisocially loud; this is just about perfect for a V12 wagon, as I see it. Thanks for showcasing!

just a word on the stripper. stripper works best by just coating it on and letting it sit. dont keep brushing as you did. as stripper sits, it creates a 'cover' on it and keeps the action going. better to use 2 coats

Shotty job but I really enjoyed the video. Funny dude cheers. Split the wheels next time 400 to 2000 wet sand then rotary polish the lips. I just spent a month doing my RS lips. Saved 500 a job wanted
What do you mean rotary polish? I have mine split and sanding them still
John I meant use a grinder with buffing pads, use brown compound then white. After 2000 wet sand you could hand polish and they look really nice but the grinder gives that true mirror shine
